About the Center

The University of Delaware Peptide-Protein Materials Center (PPMC) is equipped with instrumentation and staff dedicated to the synthesis, purification, and analysis of peptides. Staff members provide project consultation and peptide synthesis assistance, custom peptide services, and training on open access instrumentation. The center is equipped for the synthesis of a range of different peptides but focuses primarily on sequences that form coiled-coil bundlemers. Additionally, the center is fully designed for installation of click reactive handles on peptide and protein-based materials.

The PPMC is supported by the National Science Foundation through the University of Delaware Materials Research Science and Engineering Center, DMR-2011824.
