Lyophilization, also known as freeze-drying, is the process of removing water, in the form of ice, from a material by the process of sublimation. This is often done to preserve the material during storage. The following scientific articles have been provided for those that want to learn more about the lyophilization process, as well as its application in providing long-term storage of peptide products. The most useful articles have been listed first. For those that would like to learn more, check out the training video for our Labconco lyophilizer!
